Next, tap and hold on the 123 key located at the bottom-left corner of the keyboard. This will reveal a pop-up menu showcasing a wide range of symbols and special characters.
Using Keyboard Shortcuts
macOS
On macOS, incorporating special characters can be achieved through keyboard shortcuts. To insert the delta symbol (Δ), press and hold the Option key and type "D." Similarly, for lowercase delta (δ), hold Option and press "d."
iOS and iPadOS
iOS and iPadOS devices offer a hidden menu for inserting special characters. To access this menu, touch and hold a key on the keyboard that corresponds to the base character of the symbol you want to insert. For instance, to access the delta symbol, hold the "D" key.
A pop-up menu will appear, displaying several variations of the base character, including the special character or symbol you're looking for.

On a Windows PC, entering the delta symbol requires pressing the Alt key and typing the corresponding Unicode code (235) on the numeric keypad.
