Milwaukee Bucks' Patrick Beverley Chucks Basketballs at Pacers Fans

Beverley ejected from game, Bucks win 119-111

Milwaukee, WI

Milwaukee Bucks guard Patrick Beverley was ejected from Tuesday night's game against the Indiana Pacers after chucking two basketballs at Pacers fans sitting behind the Bucks bench late in the fourth quarter.

With the Bucks leading 119-111 with just over a minute remaining in the game, Beverley was seen picking up a loose ball and throwing it over the scorer's table and into the stands. He then picked up another ball and threw it in the same direction.

Beverley was immediately ejected from the game by referee Eric Lewis. The Pacers were awarded a technical foul, and Beverley was also assessed a flagrant foul 2, which carries an automatic one-game suspension.

The Bucks went on to win the game 119-111. Beverley finished with 13 points, four rebounds, 12 assists, one block, and two steals in 36 minutes.

After the game, Beverley apologized for his actions.

"I lost my cool," Beverley said. "I let my emotions get the best of me. I shouldn't have done what I did. I apologize to the fans, the Pacers, and my teammates."

The NBA is expected to review the incident and could issue further discipline to Beverley.
