Crystal Palace Signs Adam Wharton to Long-Term Contract

Young Midfielder Inks Six-Year Deal

Wharton Joins Palace from Blackburn Rovers

Crystal Palace has strengthened its midfield with the acquisition of promising youngster Adam Wharton from Blackburn Rovers. Wharton, an England Under-20 international, has signed a six-year contract with the Eagles, securing his future at Selhurst Park until 2029.

The transfer fee involved in the deal has not been disclosed, but it is believed to be a significant investment by Palace in a player who is highly regarded within the footballing community. Wharton's arrival adds to the club's growing reputation for developing talented young players.

Despite his tender age, Wharton has already made a name for himself in the Blackburn Rovers first team. In the 2021/22 season, he made 15 appearances for the Championship club, showcasing his technical ability and passing range. His performances earned him recognition at the international level, where he has represented England at Under-18 and Under-20 levels.
