Early Life and Career
Aaron Michael Nola was born on June 4, 1993, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He attended Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, where he was a standout baseball player. After graduating, he played college baseball at Louisiana State University (LSU), where he was a key member of the Tigers' 2013 College World Series championship team.
Nola was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the first round of the 2014 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut in 2015 and quickly established himself as one of the Phillies' top pitchers.
