Celebrated festival returns for 49th edition
The Telluride Film Festival has unveiled its lineup for its 49th edition, and it includes a diverse selection of highly anticipated films. Among the most notable titles are "The Piano Lesson," "Conclave," and "Saturday Night."
'The Piano Lesson'
Directed by Tony Award winner LaTanya Richardson Jackson, "The Piano Lesson" is an adaptation of August Wilson's Pulitzer Prize-winning play. The film stars Samuel L. Jackson, Danielle Deadwyler, and John David Washington in a story about a family's struggle over the ownership of a piano with deep sentimental value.
'Conclave'
From renowned director Francesco Rosi, "Conclave" is a historical drama that explores the inner workings of the Vatican during the papal conclave. The film features an all-star cast, including Ralph Fiennes, John Turturro, and Fanny Ardant.
'Saturday Night'
Directed by James Ponsoldt, "Saturday Night" is a coming-of-age story that follows a group of teenagers over the course of one eventful evening. The film stars Kyle Mooney, Celeste O'Connor, and Jason Schwartzman.
